June 2022 is Queen Elizabeth the 2nd's Platinum Jubilee marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom. She is the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee. This will be celebrated throughout the United Kingdom, crown dependencies, overseas territories and the commonwealth between the 2^nd and 5^th of June.

There are plans to celebrate the Jubilee on the streets and neighbourhoods all across the country, different councils have come up with unique ideas to mark the occasion, Bars and pubs have not been left behind and have sought inspiration to come up with Unique cocktail ideas.

Here at Homewood delights we have chosen a few inspirational cocktails from across the UK to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.

Gan Gan

The name Gan Gan comes from the what the Queen's great grandchildren call her. This heavenly cocktail includes Gin mixed with the French wine aperitif called Dubonnet with a splash of blackcurrant cordial.

Second Wind

This cocktail contains Vodka, Dissarano velvet, a shot of espresso and cocoa dust, this is a unique twist on the old espresso Martini, This concoction was invented by the famous mixologist Dick Bradsell in the 1980's.

Jubilee Gintini

The Donovan bar at the Browns hotel in London have made a unique drink which consists of Pink Gin, bitters, a splash of Champaign and a rose petal to finish it off,.. it tastes as good as it looks.

The Purple Reign

The Dorchester London has created this unique concoction in honour of her Majesty. Northern Irish and Scottish whiskies, English Raspberry Liqueur and Welsh pears come together to represent the four nations.

The Primrose of Windsor

This cocktails contains two of her majesties favourite drinks which is the aperitif wine Dubonnet and fresh spring strawberry liqueur. …..........a heavenly concoction.

Platinum Pimms

This should be one of the drinks of summer 2022 starting from the platinum jubilee. This contains Pimms liqueur, sparkling white whine and pink lemonade.

Queens Jubilee Martini

This drink is already being served across the country and is proving very popular, the reason behind this is that it contains all of her Majestis favourite tipples. Pour 30ml of Dry Gin, 30ml of Dubonnet and 30 mils of dry Martini over a few cubes of ice........sweet but deadly.
