St Patrick's day celebration is probably the biggest Irish festival in their calender, the beauty of St Paddies day is that the celebration are not just limited to Ireland, all Irish and non Irish celebrate it all over the globe. If it is Boston, Angola or Shanghai, you will find St paddies day festivities (and loads of Guinness and Jameson's).

St Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland, He is the man who brought Christianity to the Emerald Isle and he passed away on March the 17th 460 AD. It started as a religious ceremony, a feast and Ode to their dear saint but across the centuries it turned out to be a spectacular knees up and a global celebration of Irish Culture.

This year London is celebrating St Patrick's day on Sunday the 13th of March, There will be a parade starting at 12pm and culminating at 6pm, The parade begins at Hyde park corner travelling through Piccadilly, Pall Mall, Whitehall and finishing at Trafalgar square, where the true party begins.
