Ingredients

  • 2 Pears in pieces
  • HWD Campo Viejo Rioja Reserva Spanish Red Wine to poach the pears
  • 1 tsp of Cinnamon sauce prepared out of HWD Organic Cinnamon Powder

(Water, butter, sugar, cinnamon to boil)

  • Sugar
  • Whipping cream
  • Crashed pieces of Meringues
  • Strawberries
  • Mint
  • Chocolate Sauce
 

How To Make It

Pouching Pears

  1. Pour 750ml of H.D red wine into a pan with 1 stick of H.D cinnamon stick and two-star anise followed by ½ tsp of cloves powder
  2. Wash and peel the 4 pears and cut into tiny pieces from the bottom and place them in the pan with wine 
  3. Bring it to the boil
  4. When it’s boiling reduce the heat cover and simmer for 30 minutes and switch off the fire
  5. Make sure turn the pears in each 10 minutes while it’s cooking
  6. Let it cool down to room temperature and refrigerated for 2 hours

Assembling the eaten mess

  1. Cut the pear into small cubes
  2. Whip the cream
  3. If you would like to add few strawberries cut them and add vanilla sugar or sugar and vanilla extract and leave it aside beforehand (This step is optional)
  4. On to the whipped cream crumble the meringues and mix carefully with pears
  5. Spoon them into serving glasses
  6. Dazzle with cinnamon sauce and chocolate sauce garnish with mint sprig and serve
