Quick Overview

André Clouet Grande Réserve Grand Cru is a champagne produced by the winery André Clouet in BouzyChampagne A.O.C.

The Clouet family has been making champagne for over 200 years, vinifying the grapes from the vineyards they received from Napoleon in gratitude for the work they did for many years as the king’s scribes.

Maison Clouet has 9 hectares of vineyards with different plots in the village of Bouzy, all of them classified as Grand Cru and cultivated organically.

Tradition and the ‘savoir faire’ of a winery with as much history as André Clouet, imprint their style in al their fabulous champagnes.

André Clouet Grande Réserve Grand Cru is a champagne made with Pinot Noir one of the best vineyards in the village of Bouzy.

Harvesting is carried out manually, selecting the grapes in the vineyard. Once they arrive at the winery, and once they are pressed, the grapes ferment in small stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC. Once the malolactic fermentation in these same vats has ended, the champagne aged in bottles for a minimum of 36 months with their lees, before the manual disgorgement.

André Clouet Grande Réserve Grand Cru is a creamy champagne, with finesse and elegance. On the nose, the aromas of ripe white fruit stand out, with notes of citrus and bakery. In the mouth, it is unctuous, with fine bubbles and a long and persistent finish.
