Made from 40 year old vines planted on granitic soils in the St Joseph appellation. A deep, inky wine with notes of bramble fruits on the nose. The wine spent 15 months in barrique which imparted a rich toasty character that integrates seamlessly with the black fruits, dark chocolate, coffee, pepper and truffle notes on the palate.
