Following on from the quick sell-out of their inaugural launch in 2021, Henstone's ex-bourbon cask whisky is now ready. This single malt whisky is mashed, distilled, aged and bottled at Henstone Distillery. Henstone are one of only a small number of distilleries south of the Scottish border making their own wash on site. Wash is the beer that is distilled to produce whisky on site. They have a philosophy of using only the finest malted barley to produce a distinctive and characteristic new-make spirit. It has been matured in ex-bourbon casks and has not been chill filtered or coloured.

WHISKY TASTING NOTES
Nose: Ripe red apples and cream soda. Fruit and nut mix or dairy milk fruit and nut bar.
Palate: Its deceptively smooth. Most of the action is mid tongue. Warmth and the nuttiness comes through over the fruit.
Finish: Long, well beyond it's young years.
