This is a really, really, big, juicy, Shiraz - the kind of no-airs-and-graces Aussie that gave the fusty old wine world a big slap on the back 20 years ago saying 'g'day Cobber, get your laughing gear 'round this mate!' Take a big whiff before you glug it down and you'll get a massive noseful of blackberries and plums, and when it hits your tongue there's a lovely kick of spice. Absolutely perfect with hearty beef or lamb casseroles (but nothing too spicy). This Bin 50, with its grapes selected by the Lindeman's experts from only a very few vineyards considered good enough to make the cut, has become a near definitive Aussie Shiraz.
